    Have you checked the pressure in your inflatable boat? It is very easy to over inflate your boat in the warmer weather. All it takes is to have your boat out on deck in the sun and the temperature changes from say ten degrees to thirty degrees. Even taking your boat from a shaded area into the sun can cause over inflation. What happens is the air expands in your boat as the temperature rises.     This is a question I have been asked many times over the years. Here are some tips that may help. Hypalon is usually a different colour on the underside. If you sand hypalon fabric with a heavy grit sandpaper you will get rubber dust. When pvc fabric is sanded there is no dust. When pvc boats are exposed to a lot of uv they discolour and will eventually go sticky. When hypalon boats are exposed to a lot of uv they tend to go dry and chalky.
